Can Props Be Used Outside?Yes, but like most things in life they need love and attention. Elements such as the UV rays from the sun and rain coming down on them can cause them to experience wear and tear. This can lead to the prop not looking as it did in its' prime. Tips and tricks to keep all your animatronics ship shape. • Your props need "sunscreen" too. Latex isn't a big fan of the sun. Make sure to use some Krylon UV Protectant Matte Clear Spray. This can affect the coloring of the prop so test it first on a small portion first. • Our props tend to be sturdy and robust, but adding more precautions helps with peace of mind. No matter how heavy a prop is the wind can be stronger than you'd think. Adding sandbags, stakes, ground anchors, and straps can all provide additional security. Bolting animatronics to walls or sturdy platforms also helps. • Props can get rained on, but there not meant to swim. Do not submerge them in water. Prolonged exposure to water can cause damage. They'll last longer if you keep them dry. • All electronic components should be kept from getting wet. • To ensure longevity we recommend storing your props in a climate-controlled area, away from direct light, pests, and other hazards. Make sure the prop itself is completely dry when stored. This will help prevent damage.
